Guitar Picks Made From Wood

I wanted to discuss the topic of guitar picks made from wood.

These wooden picks stumbled into my life by accident as I found one lying around on the floor after a gig.

After a while of trying to find the guitar picks rightful owner, I gave up and decided to take it as a sign that this guitar pick made out of wood was for me.

I decided to give it a go as I got home from the gig. So I got out my Fender Telecaster and plugged it into an amp.

The wooden pick felt good for lead parts and felt pretty awful for strumming parts. The pick itself was quite noisy but I thought I’d give it a go on an acoustic guitar.

I was absolutely blown away by the sound of this wooden plectrum. It sounded so natural and so warm. From now on I will always be using guitar picks that are made from wood.
